As loving parents, you love to delight your children with beautiful and age-appropriate toys. However, the variety of types, brands and models of toys is so great that you are always worried whether you will choose the most popular toys at the moment.

 

To try to make this difficult task a little easier for you, we conducted a survey among parents to find out which are the most sought after toys for this year.

The most sought after toys for 2020

Plush toys

 

Soft plush toys occupy the first places in the rankings of the most sought after toys for years. And there is a completely logical reason for this. These toys are loved by both young and no longer young children. They are available in different sizes and shapes and can be hugged for hours. Often these toys are children's best friends and they fall asleep and wake up with them.

Especially for 2020, the most sought-after plush toys are the slow-growing squishies in the shape of various Zizito animals. These toys are suitable for children of all ages who have fun squeezing them and watching the toy gradually regain its shape.

Interactive dolls

Kids love this type of doll because the models can talk, eat, move, laugh and even fall asleep when swinging. By caring for their dolls, little girls learn empathy, caring for others and independence. The only downside to this type of toy is their slightly higher price.

These toys are suitable for children from 3 to 10+ years and besides the fact that playing with them is a lot of fun, assembling different models, the little ones learn coordination, logical thinking and creativity.

For 2020, the undisputed favorite among the most sought after models is the constructor of LEGO "Star Wars". The set is designed for children aged 7 to 12 years. It consists of a large number of parts from which children can assemble spaceships, "Death Star" or various favorite characters from the movie series "Star Wars".

Following the LEGO models, Bulgarian parents installed the constructors of Game Movil. The Spanish brand is in great demand in our country, as it offers a wide variety of constructors at very reasonable prices.

For 2020, however, there is one rifle that stands out from the rest. It's called the Nerf Blaster and is a plastic rifle that fires soft balls. The toy is designed for children over the age of 7 who like to have fun outdoors.

Interactive animals

Interactive animals, like dolls, are a new generation of toys that are very popular, especially with younger children. This type of toy is a plush or plastic toy that can talk, sing, count, etc. The types of interactive animals that are of interest to children are numerous, but if we have to name one of the most sought after toys of this kind, we can identify the soft toy Furby.

This is a soft interactive toy that speaks two languages and can count in English. When shaken, Furby sings, laughs and performs popular tunes. It can also reproduce sounds from different animals.

Toys by profession are a favorite of children in younger age groups, as they give them the opportunity to play different roles. This year, some of the most popular models of this type of toys are doctor's kits, kits for engineers, drivers, kits for housewives and others.

And if you want to make your children really happy, the most recommended type is a radio-controlled jeep that completely imitates a Mercedes jeep model. The model is made of metal and plastic components, can move at speeds up to 10 km/h and perform any other maneuvers.

Consoles always find a place among the most sought after toys, and the reason for this love is that there is no child who does not like to play such games. Our observations show that a larger percentage of boys play console games, but even if you have a daughter, it's not out of place to gift her this.
